Tom Rebl develops first for the eyewear sector with oxidised acetate
For its latest eyewear collection, fashion designer Tom Rebl and manufacturer Pregiata have developed what was said to be a first for the eyewear sector - oxidised acetate. The handmade frames were created using rusted metal plates that were bonded to a semi-finished acetate core. The rust finish is applied to the front eye shape and a section of the temples. Two models are available - Bomb Ray and Protos (pictured). The Protos frame has a panto-inspired silhouette and features retro key hole bridge detailing.
