Allergan is to spend &\#163;750,000 on a consumer PR and product sampling programme to support the launch of its Refresh eye drops (Medicines Update, April 28). Designed for the management of minor discomfort, the new drops come in two formulations: Refresh Instant Revival and Refresh Soothe and Protect.
Refresh Instant Revival is for the relief of mild symptoms, such as those related to VDU use or air-conditioned environments. It comes in a 15ml bottle which lasts up to 60 days. Refresh Soothe and Protect comes in a pack of 20 single-use vials and is a longer-lasting formulation for cooling relief and protection from further discomfort.
