
Topcon Healthcare has launched an Ocular Data-as-a-Service platform that is designed to accelerate artificial intelligence research and digital health innovation for proactive patient care.
The Institute of Digital Health (IDHea) was said to provide fast and secure access to real-world clinical trial datasets to drive breakthroughs in healthcare applications and improve outcomes in ocular and systemic diseases.
‘We established IDHea to accelerate development of AI-powered clinical decision support systems and oculomics, the science of analysing ocular data to identify, diagnose, and manage ocular and systemic disease,” said Julia Coelho, VP of Data and digital strategy.
