Ahead of the BCLA Clinical Conference and Exhibition on June 6-9, instrument manufacturer and distributor Topcon has unveiled a number of new products and upgrades.

The new 3D OCT-1 Maestro (1) was said to be smaller, faster and lighter and more flexible than its predecessors and to offer 50,000 A Scans per second. Additional features include auto alignment, focus and capture of OCT and colour fundus, along with optic nerve and macular measurement.

The CT-1/1P non-contact tonometer (2) has also been revamped, with a revised design and more compact appearance. The device was said to have a 55 per cent softer air-puff and offer operation without using a lever. A flexible control panel allows the unit to be installed in different positions in the control room.
