Toric lens added to Avaira Vitality range

CooperVision has launched a new toric lens as part of the expansion of its Avaira Vitality portfolio.

The new lens, which will be available as of this month, combines ‘wettable silicone material’ with a high water content. The company says it will block more than 90% of UVA and 99% of UVB rays.

‘Its performance speaks for itself, meeting the needs of today’s patients and practitioners by delivering a remarkable level of consistency – particularly important for astigmatic patients,’ said Mark Draper, head of marketing and professional services at CooperVision.

Lenses are available in a variety of sphere powers, ranging from +8.00D to -10.00D (0.50D steps after +/- 6.00D) with cylinder options of -0.75, -1.25, -1.75 and -2.25 and axes from 10° to 180° in 10° steps.
