Trademark infringement case against Threesixty has been settled

A trademark infringement case against optical wholesaler Threesixty has been settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.

Professor Teifi James and The Eyebag Company took Threesixty to the High Court over the supplier’s eye mask containing flax seeds for the treatment of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, which was on sale between 2016 and 2018.

In a statement issued on Threesixty’s website, the company said: ‘We apologise to Teifion Emlyn James and to his company The Eyebag Company for the sale of our eyemask products containing flax seed, which we have since removed from sale and for any use of the Eyebag mark in relation to the sale of products not originating from The EyeBag Company.’
