RNIB Scotland has announced a new training pack to help adults with learning disabilities

RNIB Scotland has announced a new training pack designed to help adults with learning disabilities understand the importance of eye health.

Named Healthy Eyes and developed in conjunction with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow Caledonian University and the Good Life Group, the pack will help users to recognise signs of sight loss in themselves, family and friends. It will explain what to do if their sight is getting worse or if a problem with their eyes arises.

The pack will be available on a USB stick and includes a guide and video clips, both of which can be used in a group of adults with a person leading the session.
