Seven optical industry cyclists were brought together over the bank holiday weekend to take part in the Le Mans 24 heures Velo race in France.
The riders took to the iconic Bugatti racing circuit for a full 24 hours of non-stop racing. As well as the lack of sleep the riders had to contend with a strong headwind, a tough climb and a Tour de France-style peleton of top riders.
One team of four shared the day of riding while Hoya's Paul Maxwell, Luxottica's Andrew Spiers and Optician editor Chris Bennett each rode solo for the full 24 hours.
