Eyecare 3000 will be held on January 10 in Belfast's Waterfront Hall and then in Scotland at Glasgow's Marriot Hotel from January 17-18.
Both events will feature a series of lectures with question and answer sessions as well as practical workshops.
With the new CET cycle starting on January 1, the Belfast 'Ocular disease update', with eight speakers, is worth 10 CET points, accredited by the College of Optometrists and Association of Optometrists Ireland (AOI). The Glasgow event enables practitioners to gain up to 26 CET points, accredited by both the General Optical Council and the AOI.
The Belfast course will cost £100+VAT, while each day at the Glasgow event is priced at £146+VAT or £246+VAT for both days. Special hotel rates have also been negotiated by the organisers. Eyecare 3000 now allows any practitioner to register as a member for free, so they can download all the previously recorded lectures from the Eyecare library over the last 17 years, as compressed MP3 files.
Anyone wishing to become a member should visit www.eyecare3000.co.uk. Those wishing to book a conference place should call 0044 (0)1698 850005 or book online at the same address.
