UK Vision Strategy appoints Fazilet Hadi as new lead officer

Fazilet Hadi has been announced as the lead officer for the UK Vision Strategy following the retirement of programme director Anita Lightstone.

A statement said Hadi, RNIB director of engagement,  would support the UK Vision Strategy leadership group’s implementation of the strategy across the UK.

The UK Vision Strategy team now also consisted of Katherine Raven, senior manager, Sally Chandler, planning and performance manager and Lisa Hughes, UK programme coordinator.

‘I am delighted to be leading the UK Vision Strategy team as we continue to build on the goals outlined in the refreshed 2013-2018 strategy. I am confident that by working with our partners across the UK both nationally and locally the UK Vision Strategy will successfully deliver better outcomes by improving eye health and increasing independence for people with sight loss,’ said Hadi.
