Best-known for its ski goggles and sunglasses, sports eyewear manufacturer Uvex has introduced an ophthalmic frame collection. Uvex said that the collection's theme was 'a sportier view of life' and that the frames were aimed at teenagers and young adults.
Pictured are the u7005c frames, worn by German mountain bike champion Karl Platt. The frames feature modern-looking straight lines in a brooding shade of dark grey, with colour coded end tips. The frames can be adapted to the specific needs of the wearer to provide best fit for most situations.
The new range is available as a complete promotional package, providing frames and lenses at what the company described a competitive price point. Progressive lens packages are also available for presbyopic patients. Supporting promotional materials such as posters, banners, counter cubes and frame displays are available for practices from Uvex distributor, Rodenstock.
