Valli boss recognised for business leadership

Valli Opticians’ founder has won the award for Business Person of the Year 2021 at YorkshireLive’s annual Examiner Business Awards, held at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield.

Moin Valli, founder and managing director at Valli Opticians, commented: ‘I am extremely proud to have been recognised in this way by local business leaders and humbled to have won the award. This award is as much for my wife Rachel as it is for me. I am lucky that we have very contrasting qualities, yet together we have always made a formidable team. As there are no nominations or shortlist for this particular category, it came as a shock on the night.’
