John Varvatos has released its spring 2013 collection of ophthalmic frame and sunglass styles.
'The spring 2013 eyewear collection is dedicated to handcrafter opulence with a rock and roll edge. Each frame offers the wearer an opportunity for discovery with intricate detailing that can only come from the world of Varvatos,' said a manufacturer spokesperson.
Model V145 has a rectangular silhouette with heavy acetate top brows which give the model a retro Clubmaster type feel helped by a tortoiseshell colour scheme (1). Hinges, nose bridge and rim edges feature fleur de lis detailing for added vintage effect. Metal style V354 is equally vintage, with a round shape and acetate sandwich (2).
The V355 has a retro unisex shape (3), but its embellishments are more modern than some of the other models. Modern Torx pattern detailing on the temples offset retro touches like the keyhole bridge.
The metal V789 sunglass (4) has a rectangular lens shape and features the same acetate sandwiching and fleur de lis detailing seen in the ophthalmic collection.
