Optical support agency Practice Building has donated funds for 55 people to Vision Care for Homeless People (VCHP).
Practice Building sold information packs and marketing material to practices for £59, with the entirety of the proceeds donated to VCHP.
The donation will fund eye examinations and spectacles for 55 homeless people. Practice Building’s director, Andy Clarke, commented: ‘We did a lot of work during lockdown with our one2one campaign in helping practices to reassure their patients about the safety of coming back into practice. We decided to donate the money generated to a UK charity and had come across VCHP at the Optix conference.’
