VE selects Medikidz character

High Wycombe schoolgirl Maddison Andrews has won the lead role in a ‘Marvel meets medicine’ comic from Vision Express with the mission of boosting child eye test rates.

Seven year-old Andrews has been illustrated as a character in a comic created by Medikidz, which shows the importance of an eye test, depicts common problems children experience with their vision and shows what an eye test involves.

As part of her prize, the Medikidz superheroes paid a special visit to Andrews’ school, Highworth Combined School & Nursery in High Wycombe. Forty Medikidz comics and books were donated to the school library.
