Videos address PPE in practice

A series of videos have been developed to provide hints for making personal protective equipment work for staff in an optical practice.

Alcon and the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) have partnered for three videos presented by Sally-Anne Bradbury, critical care nurse, and Indie Grewal, president of the BCLA.

The videos address ways of resolving issues around regular wearing of face masks and have been made available on YouTube and the BCLA’s website.

Luke Stevens-Burt, chief executive of the BCLA, said: ‘This series of videos shines a light on best practice and shares top tips for how to wear PPE most effectively and with the best possible degree of comfort.’
