VISION 2020 recruits new member

National Eye Research Centre has become a member of umbrella organisation VISION 2020 UK.

The addition marked an ‘exciting step’ for VISION 2020 UK’s involvement in research, following its inaugural Funders of Eye Research Summit in September last year, a statement said.

VISION 2020 UK CEO Mercy Jeyasingham said: ‘This membership shows a great commitment to collaborative working, and we anticipate a strong, fulfilling working relationship in the coming years, to help National Eye Research Centre achieve all of their organisational objectives.’

Formed in 1986, National Eye Research Centre raises money to fund research into the causes of eye disease, development of treatments and prevention of blindness.
