Vision Care calls for help

Vision Care for Homeless People urgently needs volunteers to help at the Crisis headquarters in Shoreditch, London and at the Passage Homeless Centre in London Victoria.

Vision Care founder Harinder Paul and his board of trustees have been invited to the House of Lords in July with the aim of raising funds from the leading optical bodies for the charity's nationwide expansion plans. From April 13 between 10am and 5pm Vision Care will be running fortnightly clinics and Paul is calling on optometrists, dispensing opticians and optical assistants to help either regularly or as a one-off.

Vision Care, which is registered with the charities commission, has provided eye care to over 2,000 homeless people over the past three years.
