Vision Express has announced the acquisition of 65 practices from optical group Rayner & Keeler for an undisclosed amount – taking its total number of stores in the UK and Ireland to 367.
The multiple said 38 of the practices would become part of the Vision Express portfolio in their existing locations.
Jonathan Lawson, chief executive officer of Vision Express, said: ‘This is a very exciting time. The Vision Express brand and business has been performing strongly for the last three years.
‘Therefore it is timely that we seek opportunities in the right location, to increase our market share and bring the Vision Express experience to our new customers, who we look forward to welcoming to our latest Vision Express stores.’
