Vision Express recycles specs

Vision Express is rolling out a nationwide recycling project as part of a wider promotion for a new range of ethical eyewear.

Recycle Drive encourages customers to bring in their old spectacles in exchange for a £60 discount off a new pair or a free second pair. The old frames are then sent to international charity Vision Aid Overseas.

The initiative coincides with the launch of Modo ECO (Earth-Conscious-Optics), a range of ethical eyewear sold exclusively at Vision Express.

There are 24 frames in the range made from 95 per cent recycled acetate and stainless steel and for each style sold, a tree will be planted in developing communities.
