Coinciding with World Sight Day (October 9), UK registered charity Vision for a Nation (VFAN) is about to embark on a new phase as part of a four-year project in partnership with the country’s Ministry of Health.

Since 2012, VFAN has been working to provide eye health training to over 1,200 nurses in the country with the aim of developing a nationwide primary eye care system and offering affordable glasses at every one of Rwanda’s 502 health centres.
