Vivid Optical joins Careers in Eyecare 

Association of British Dispensing Optician (ABDOs) announced Vivid Optical as the latest sponsor for its cross-sector initiative Careers in Eyecare.  

In its third year, the Careers in Eyecare campaign has continued its outreach to young people and career advisors to boost awareness of the optical profession.   

Antonia Chitty, head of communications at ABDO, said: ‘Award-winning Careers in Eyecare is all about raising awareness of great career opportunities in the eyecare and eyewear industries. The future of these industries is dependent upon upcoming new talent to keep them buoyant and fresh. Support from Vivid Optical to increase the range of help and resources that we can offer to students, teachers and careers advisers.’
