Vivienne Westwood merges vintage art & retro rock'n'roll

Baroque-inspired frames with intricate embellishments and vintage styles characterise the Vivienne Westwood 2025 sun collection.

Each style was said to make its own individual statement, with design inspiration taken from 'counterculture  and borne from the outer edges of art and music'. Vibrant colour contrasts include acid pink and yellow alongside tortoiseshell, silver and black. Bespoke details feature on metal work and hinges, including pearls and the Vivienne Westwood ‘orb’, seen throughout the collection.

The lenses of the oversized ‘Sunday’ are encased by a frame imprinted with a Baroque painting, the ‘Reed’ has a classic tortoiseshell frame modernised with bespoke metal work, while the bold ‘Balmoral’ is amplified by metal work featuring the orb. All styles are crafted from Acetate renew, made from 60% bio-based and 40% certified recycled content.
