She gives the answer 'Yes. There is no such thing as a half voucher in any circumstances.' I disagree with this answer. This appears to be at variance with the notes on the GOS 3, Part 2, Claim section where the maximum claimable for glasses/contact lenses should be the lower of boxes 1 or 7. This suggests to me that the claim would have to be less than the full voucher value if you charged the patient less than the voucher value for one lens. Ignoring the commercial sense, or otherwise, of charging less than the voucher value for supplying one lens, it would appear to be incorrect to charge the full voucher value in that instance and be open to the accusation of making a fraudulent claim.
