Waterside Labs has launched a prescription insert for Recon Jet smart eyewear designed for runners and cyclists.
The inserts allow wearers with a prescription to wear Recon Jet products, which have in-built visual displays positioned so wearers can train and view data without moving their gaze.
Waterside offers lenses that are optimised for a range of wearable technology thanks to its tie up with Rochester Optical in the US.
Among the products it provides prescription Smart Gold lenses for are Recon Jet, Epson Moverio, BT-200, Vuzix M100, Sony SmartEyeglass and Google Glass.
Waterside managing director Bob Forgan said the prescription insert would ensure equal access to the Recon Jet products.
