Bushnell Eyewear has announced a two-year sponsorship agreement with British golfer Lee Westwood to wear Bollé sunglasses.
The manufacturer said 39-year-old Westwood, world number one in 2010, was unanimously considered as one of the superstars on the European and PGA Tours as well as in numerous Ryder Cups. He will begin by wearing the Bolt sunglass with the V3 lens which has specifically designed for golf.
'Precision is the major asset in golf. Vision must be perfect, whatever the weather conditions. A high degree of concentration is essential and seeing better and therefore being able to adjust better can only be of benefit. Eyewear must be lightweight and cover the eyes well, while allowing the skin to breathe to avoid mist and sweat. What my Bollé eyewear also offers is better reading of distances, thus improving my choice of club.
