Manufacturer and distributor of optometry and ophthalmic equipment Haag-Streit UK has made two sales appointments to drive growth in 2012.
Grahame Wood has been promoted to national sales manager and Nicky Webster has joined the company as area sales manager.
Wood has been with the manufacturer for more than two decades, working across both sales and service divisions. He will be responsible for managing all sales strategies in the UK and will cultivate and maintain relationships with the company's customers.
Dean Johnson, managing director of Haag-Streit UK, said: 'Grahame's track record of success within the company, his relationships with our clients and respect earned from the sales team make him a perfect fit to lead the sales function.'
Webster joins the company from Optical Express, where was a regional sales manger and responsible for 16 of the multiple's practices.
She has over 11 years of experience of the optical industry and was also involved with the introduction of Ultralase's IOL hospitals.
Based remotely, Webster will be responsible for sales in the north-west region, including Manchester and North Wales.
