Optical practices that provide GOS will fall into one of the following practice situations. Click on the one that best reflects your situation:
A GOC registered optometrist who operates in a practice as a sole trader.
B GOC registered optometrist/GMC registered OMP who operates in a practice as a partnership with another registered optometrist/OMP, dispensing optician or lay person.
C GOC registered optometrist who operates in a practice as a director of a limited company which is not on the GOC bodies corporate list.
D GOC registered dispensing optician who operates in a practice as a director of a limited company which is not on the GOC bodies corporate list.
E GOC registered dispensing optician who operates in a practice as a sole trader.
F GOC registered dispensing optician who operates in a practice in a partnership agreement with another registered dispensing optician or a lay person.
G Any form of unregistered practice. The owner, partners, company are neither registered opticians or registered with the GOC as a body corporate.
