It's been a busy time for everyone on Optician recently and this culminated with our redesign last Friday (19th see previous post).
I was looking forward to a nice relaxing non-optical weekend but it was not to be.
As it happened a series of bizarre incidents took place which make for a wierd and whacky optical break.
The first incident centered around Henry.
Henry is 10 year old and is a retired deer stalking dog. One of my kids convinced himself on Friday night that as one of Henry's eyes looked milky he must have cataracts. It was then pointed out that he had a check up with the vet on Wednesday. I must say not many vets keep up their slit lamp techniques so I'm no so sure.
Incident number two:
In preparation for my participation in the Oakley / Transitions sponsored Ironman 70.3 triathlon I often find myself on a bike ( or running or in the pool). I got chatting to a fellow cyclist about steamed up glasses and he came up with this bizarre solution.
Washing up liquid. Rub it neat on the inside of your cycling specs. These cyclists do like to live dangerously. I'll post a picture of the bike sometime.. lovely it is.
Incident number three to follow.................
