By the time you read this, I hope to be availing myself of the joys of popular music and arts in a sunny/wet (delete as appropriate) field in Somerset. It is also the time I am faced with a dilemma regarding contact lens use.

Glastonbury is remarkable among most music festivals for the numbers of presbyopes, both on stage and off. Indeed, I worked out that the average age of performer on the main pyramid stage in 2012 was over 60! Clear vision both near and far is essential for full enjoyment, so the advent of good multifocal contact lenses has been an absolute boon.
