Help your customers by offering a respite from the hot weather

A national emergency was just one step away this week with weather forecasters issuing a third stage amber warning as temperatures rose.

With more hot weather forecast what can practices do to keep customers coming in and staff distracted?

The novelty of hot weather wore off pretty quickly for those in the south of the country. Commuters, office staff and manual workers were visibly fading in the heat. Staff were advised to leave their offices if the mercury hit 30C while the TUC suggested hospitals and shops should ideally be at a temperature of 18C to 24C. Any practices without air conditioning take note.
