Two inches of snow and sub-zero temperatures greeted most people for their first full week back to work and it was a timely reminder that 2009 is not going to be a comfortable year.
Just as we have to prepare for inclement weather, the bleak economy requires us to be prepared and to alter our expectations.
You don’t need to be Michael Fish to know that making progress in the snow and ice requires more effort and substantially more investment in winter woolies and stout boots. It would also be wise to assume that when conditions are poor the amount of progress we make is reduced and the level of difficulty increased.
