Optics has a new celebrity in Goodlooking Optics' Garry Kousoulou. His recent appearance on Channel 4's Daddy Daycare has moved the optical profession onto a whole new level.

A cohort of North London's day-cared-for kids are now more aware of the optical business than ever before.
Joking aside, Garry came across (in his own inimitable style) really well. His passion was infectious and his drive to give the kids an exciting time made the 'professional' day carers on the show look pretty boring.
He's such a low-key and modest guy I'm sure he wouldn't have mentioned his appearance to anyone else so I thought I would share.
People will never think about opticians in the same way again.
The quote of the show came from a fellow Daddy after Garry decided to get the kids out running about and discovering things. As he put it: getting them tired doing something interesting rather than being locked in a box and kept quiet all day. Garry went to the depot next door and got a big red bus bus for the kids ( and the dads) to explore. 'You're a living genius said the fellow Dad.Hear Hear.
