Eyekemists concoct new offerings in laboratory

Simon Jones

Eyekemist is a new optical venture from French distribution companies UGD Sarl and Le Domaine des Lunetiers. Inspired by alchemy, the label said it had brought together influences from the atmosphere to create the new ophthalmic designs.

Terra, Aqua, Ignis, Aeris and Aurum acetate frames make up the collection, which has a retro feel. Pictured are the Aqua women's design with a cat's eye shape, and the men's Terra frame with cut-out bridge. A variety of colours are available, all with a smoke effect.
