Gant's American dream

Through its distributor, Viva International, Gant has released its 2012 spring/summer eyewear collections. The American fashion house said the new lines drew inspiration from three distinct themes - American prep, Navy nautical and American in Morocco. Thirty new models make up the new collections, which also include lines from sub-brands Gant Rugger and Gant by Michael Bastian.

The Winslow (top) frames form part of the Gant range. American prep was the inspiration for the frame, which is manifested in thick temples and a vintage Wayfarer silhouette. The rich two-tone acetate is available in a range of colours, including yellow and horn, brown over light amber and tortoise over crystal.
