Has anyone seen discolouration of patients' daily disposable lenses?
I saw a patient recently for a routine annual examination. She wears Clariti Daily Disposable Toric (Somofilcon A) lenses and upon removal I was surprised to see her lenses had a definite pink discolouration.
I recollect frequently seeing discoloured lenses back in the days of “conventional” soft lenses but have never seen this with daily disposables. She is taking Sumatriptan succinate and Atenolol and I would have thought this could be likely cause, but wondered if anybody else had come across similar effects?
