Letter: Stopping ex-employees with a grudge

While I know it is the GOC’s remit to investigate all allegations of misconduct and fitness to practice, etc, but are there checks in place to prevent abuse of the system to filter vexatious and inaccurate claims being made against a practice or practitioner by a disgruntled employee or ex-employee?
