
I have sent this letter to GOC, ABDO, FODO, AOP, College of Optometrists as well as Eye Health UK, as they all endorsed this initiative and hence presumably the publications.
I wish to complain about the leaflet entitled The Sight Test, an essential health check that was sent out in advance of National Eye Health Week. I was unable to display this during Eye Health Week in September although I displayed all the other material supplied. This was due to the inclusion of one particular statement.
Is it right to suggest that a private eye examination should cost less than the amount we are paid by the NHS, which is currently £21.31?
