Many commentators have predicted we will see a sustained period of economic growth post-pandemic. With a backlog of patients to see, many practices are already seeing promising signs that this will be the case. One thing practices have noticed is that, by having a locked door policy and being able to fully focus on one patient at a time, they are better able to provide solutions to the visual challenges presented. This results in more sophisticated dispensing and higher revenues, which is clearly a win-win for both the patients and the practice.

If practices are to manage the growth, there are several factors that need to be considered, including what is fuelling this growth? We need also to consider how we will manage the growth in the economy to make the most of opportunities.
