There is an interesting piece on the BBC website about politicians. They don't wear sunglasses apparently because people wearing sunglasses are considered untrustworthy. I always thought policiticians looked untrustworthy enough without sunglasses on.
Whatever your politics I don't think a pair of sunnies would have changed opinions.
