Parasite breaks with tradition

Never one to follow the traditional eyewear design rulebook, Parasite Optical has done away with a traditional temple design for its new Ubik frames. The manufacturer described the frame as a 'mix of avant-garde and retro, made harmonious thanks to the choice of the materials.'

From the front, the Ubik is a departure from recent Parasite offerings. A subtle retro metal shape is accentuated by detailing on the nose bridge. Things get interesting when you move to the temples. Two thin sides hold the spectacles in place - a style used on many of the frames in Parasite Optical's sports product lines.
