Plus ca change

I stumbled across this letter in one of the lesser optical rags and got quite excited.

Do away with all of these costly optical bodies and have just one that could promote the profession and buisness in a simple and efficient way. Wow what common sense.

Why haven't we done this before. Yes this really guy knows what he is talking about. I'll vote for him........ The I realised it was a blast from the past, the letter was written in 1968.
