Road to Shangri-La

Don't feel sorry for me, David (Letters July 8). When your contact lens patients get their lenses from the corner shop and your spectacle wearers get their correction from the internet, you will be looking for the A1 to Shangri-La, to join old hippies like me. Stop quoting history, times change. Justifying massively inflated product prices to subsidise chair time will fail eventually, the public are getting smarter every day. Keep converting those sight tests Mr Levy.
