​No doubt about it, 2020 has been awful. Describing it as ‘a year to forget,’ wouldn’t be right, but it shouldn’t be a year to dwell on either.

No doubt about it, 2020 has been awful. Describing it as ‘a year to forget,’ wouldn’t be right, but it shouldn’t be a year to dwell on either. As we go into 2021, there is reason for optimism and the sterling work optometry has done in the past 10 months should stand it in good stead for when the slightly different version of normality returns.

It’s about this time of year when Optician likes to consider the industry news and events of the past 12 months, but given the reality of 2020, we wanted to do something different.
