An experiment launched by NASA in partnership with Heidelberg Engineering has started to feed some results back through the solar system.
Impressively, astronauts on the International Space Station have been sending their scans back to the Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas for further analysis on the impact of microgravity exposure on the eyes.
As this video shows the data will be able to monitor changes over time and perhaps explain why some space travellers have been returning with structural problems.
