The Halvvattern social club

I had the pleasure of cycling 150km through the Swedish countryside recently with a group of optical people brought together by Transitions. You can read a full race report in the link.

Given that some of the group had little more than six weeks to prepare and there were a few ( non-cycling) injuries the whole team did amazingly well to finish.

An even more surprising element of the trip has been the way the group gelled so quickly. Along with the Transitions people there were others from practice groups and lenscasters and they all became friends and got on like a house on fire.
