There are some interesting guys around

I had the pleasure of meeting Dean Bulter this week to talk through the Adlens venture he is involved with. Adlens makes adjustable glasses for emergencies and the developing world.

After the main business had been dealt with ( look out for the story in this week's issue)  we had a little time to chat about issues of the day, international optical politics and a whole collection of other things besides.

What an interesting chap.

You would expect a man who founded Lenscrafters in the US and brought Vision Express to the UK to be 'up there' on optics but our conversation ranged around quite a bit.
