Tried and tested in Esher

Following a quick introduction to No7's Duette hybrid lens at the National Eyecare Group's meeting in the midlands last year ( see Optician November 25 2011) the nice people at No7 invited me to try out the lens.

Off I went to Esher for a fitting and possibly the most thorough eye examination I have ever undergone. On Tuesday I had to go back for the contact lens teach and to pick the lenses up. Now Esher can be a busy little place so, as the appointment was for 8.00am, I gave myself plenty of time to get there. Unfortunately I had also been consigned to what the Optician household  euphemistically calls the 'alloment car', as Mrs Optician Editor wanted the least worse car for something or other.
