Twittersphere gets in a flap

Many of you will be aware that Optician is building itself a new website. It's currently being readied for launch and the team has been joined by a new web editor, or producer, who has taken control of all things webby.

One of her first actions was to synchronise all of the various Optician Twitter feeds and blogs - quite a few of them there are too. The upshot of this is that my Twitter feed @opticianonline has gone mad. I have never had so many followers. The Optician Linkedin community has also been discussing Optrafair London so I have never had so many connections. Our web supremo, Melanie, has now turned her attention to the Optician Facebook page so I'm looking forward to gaining a lot of new friends shortly.
