Only time will tell if this is reality or a fairy tale scenario?

But what does 2009 have in store for the rest of the optical community and what should be our New Year’s resolutions? Without any doubt 2009 will be a period of continuing economic uncertainty. Customers may defer their visit or simply defer their purchase, in turn putting pressure on practices that rely on spectacle sales. Our resolution should be to make our business model more robust in the long term, particularly by giving greater focus to other services we can offer.
